Two menu options: one inspired by the locale (London!) and the other inspired by Natasha’s tapas party (though I recommend omitting Natasha’s imperious attitude…).

Afternoon Tea


Tapas Party

  • Olives
  • Dried Apricot Canapés with Herbed Goat Cheese and Serrano Ham (recipe in the back of Too Many Cooks)
  • Stuffed dates (you could use the “Devils on Horseback” in the back of The Girls’ Guide to Love and Supper Clubs)
  • Sweet potato fries with spicy aioli (recipe for the fries in the back of Too Many Cooks)
  • Spanish tortilla, cut into small squares
  • Mini kale burgers (if you dare!)
  • A selection of Spanish cheeses (such as Manchego, Mahon, Garrotxa, and Cabreles), served with membrillo and toasts, flatbreads, or crackers
  • Chocolate mousse served in shot glasses (not Spanish, but who can resist chocolate mousse? Recipe in the back of Too Many Cooks)
